Cheesy Mozzarella Balls

Hey everyone! It’s that time of the year again. Tailgate Season! To honor this amazing time of the year, I’ve made some amazing bite-sized treats that are perfect for that next big game.

Mozzarella balls are my version of mozzarella sticks. These are also a lot easier to make than cheese sticks. They are very fun and simple to make and can be filling enough to eat as a grab-and-go meal, if you happen to eat enough of them. You can also easily make many of them if needed.

This dish was a personal family favorite. It was such a large hit that my dad wanted me to make more for dinner. I hope you all enjoy the cheese balls as much as my dad.Thank you again for reading, and supporting me, it means a lot.

I hope you all enjoy the mozzarella cheese balls, and I hope that you all have an amazing day. Remember to tag me in any photos that you post, and tell me how you all like them!

Cheesy Mozzarella Balls

Course: Appetizer/Snack Difficulty: Easy Time: 25 minutes Servings: 20

Ingredients:

  • 3, 0.3 oz packages buttermilk biscuits
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano per ball
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt per ball
  • 8 oz block mozzarella cheese
  • (optional) Pizza sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Spray cooking sheet with cooking spray so the cheese balls don’t stick to the pan.
  2. Open the biscuit case and take out a biscuit. Make a small indentation with your thumb in the middle of the biscuit.
  3. Sprinkle with oregano and garlic salt where you made your indentation.
  4. Cut the mozzarella block into 20 small cubes. Place 1 cube in the center of the biscuit, where you made you indentation.
  5. Pinch dough tightly around the cheese to seal it, so no mozzarella can leak out.
  6. Place seam side down on the baking sheet.
  7. Place in the oven and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
  8. Take out of the oven and dip in pizza sauce. Serve and enjoy!
